Uhuru’s Look a Like Gifted a Brand New Car
When photos of Njogo Gitonga surfaced online, many were shocked on how his striking resembled that of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Gitonga stated how he had a hard time explaining to people that he is not the president and neither are they related.
This has turned out to be blessings in disguise as he has received a precious gift of a car.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s doppelganger, Michael Njogo Gitonga aka Uhunye wa Mtaa, was gifted the KSh 700,000 vehicle by car-trading company Maridady Motors. Gitonga received the 2013 Nissan Note at the company’s head office on Kiambu Road Friday morning.
Gitonga came to the limelight after his photos were shared widely on social media with some people speculating they were old pictures of the commander-in-chief, probably before his first term as president in 2013.
Gitonga, whose striking resemblance to the president amazed many Kenyans, he says will use the vehicle to start his own taxi business now that his bar business closed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
