TSC announces promotion vacancies for teachers
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has today advertised for 1000 promotion positions for Diploma teachers.
Making the announcement through the public advert, TSC stated that the online application portal will be opened for applicants to submit their online application before the end of the day.
All applications will be done online and no manual application will be accepted.
“Interested candidates who meet the required qualification should make their application online through TSC website so as to be received on or before 9th February 2021” TSC stated.
Of the 1000 vacancies, 492 posts are for secondary teacher I, 363 for senior master IV, 72 fir Deputy principal III, 15 for Senior principal,30 posts for deputy principal II and 28 for Senior lecturer IV.
Application requirements and process
Applicants shall be required to upload the following documents during application;
- Certificate of registration as a teacher
- Certificate of good conduct
- Certificate of clearances from HELB
- EACC clearance application
- CRB clearance certificate
- KRA Tax compliance certificate
- Higher academic certificates
Application deadline.
All applications should be submitted on or before 9th February. Applications should be done online by uploading the above documents on the TSC website through the application portal.

The commission has also warned applicants against giving false information during the application process. TSC has stated that those found will automatically be disqualified.
