This is where Hollywood shoots all its plane movie scenes

In every Hollywood movie that involves planes and airports, one would be quick to say the film makers hired the whole plane and the airport for filming purpose. Well, practically that would be costly and almost impossible.
It turns out that there is a place dedicated for plane scenes for the Hollywood film production and that place in Los Angeles -Air Hollywood studio. Actually the planes you see in the movies never take off from the ground.
Air Hollywood, based in Los Angeles, has faithfully served the motion picture, television and commercial production industry since 1998. In addition to aviation-themed studios, the studio provides prop and set dressing rentals, stock footage licensing, furniture design and manufacturing, educational programming, and other motion picture services.
You will be surprised to know that many of the most iconic plane and airport scenes were filmed in the same place — Air Hollywood. The LA production studio is entirely dedicated to aviation. Some famous scenes in movies like “Bridesmaids,” “Wolf of Wall Street,” and “Kill Bill,” and in TV shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “The Office,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Silicon Valley,” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”all were created at the Air Hollywood studios
Air Hollywood was also behind some of the famous plane crash sequence in “Lost.” Plus, they’ve provided the sets for music videos by artists like The Weekend and Pitbull.
As the biggest aviation-themed studio in the world, Air Hollywood has three full aircraft interiors and an airport terminal set that’s reconfigurable into any part of the air travel experience. They’re equipped with a huge warehouse of props and costumes from different decades and can easily switch out their seats, signs, and parts to replicate different eras, settings, and memorabilia from different decades in minutes.
Their realistic production design has drawn some of TV’s and Hollywood’s biggest directors and producers, including Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Mindy Kaling, and Shonda Rhimes.
