List Of Best Performing Governors In Kenya
The latest ranking of governors and counties Ranks Kakamega Governor Hon. Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya and Kakamega county as the best performing governors and county respectively.
This is according to the latest Infotrack survey that was released on 28th of October 2020.
According to the survey which considered the governors’ performance in the period 2019 – 2020, a majority of Kenyans say that devolution is working but 15% were disapproving of devolved units.
Oparanya who is also the Council of Governors chairman, had a meanscore of 82.3 percent followed by Kwale’s Salim Mvurya at 77.1 percent and Makueni governor Kivuthat Kibwana at the third position with 74.4%.
Oparanya, Mvurya and Kibwana are both serving their last terms.
Residents rated the performance of their governors in agriculture, health and education sectors.
