Kenya Records Highest Covid-19 Cases In a Single day
- On Thursday 23rd July, Kenya recorded 796 new Coronavirus cases in the country
- The new confirmed cases were from a sample of 6,754 samples tested across the country. The tests were carried out within the last 24 hours.
- This brings the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases to 15,601.
On Thursday 23rd July Kenya recorded 796 new Coronavirus cases in the country. This is so far the highest number of Covid-19 cases to have ever been recorded in a single day.

The new confirmed cases were from a sample of 6,754 samples tested across the country. The tests were carried out within the last 24 hours.
Speaking during the daily briefings, Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi revealed that of the Confirmed cases, 503 were male while 293 were female
The age of the youngest was a one year old while the oldest was 87 years old.
On the sad note, three more patients succumbed to the virus, raising the total fatality cases from Covid-19 to 263
