JUST IN: New Data-Driven Means Testing Tool to Improve SHA Premiums from March 2025 

  Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that every Kenyan has medical coverage through the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) program. Kindiki announced that 19.5 million citizens are already enrolled under the Social Health Authority (SHA), bringing the country closer to a healthier and more productive population. Speaking at the National and County Governments Health Summit held at his Official Residence in Karen on Monday, DP Kindiki said the government is tackling key challenges in the rollout of Taifa Care to make UHC sustainable.
