Jackson Kuria Kihara commonly known as Cop Shakur, a prison officer who was suspended for joining Kenyans in the anti-Finance Bill protests in June 2024 has been charged in court. Appearing before magistrate Gilbert Shikwe on Monday January 20, 2025, Shakur was charged with publishing false information in violation of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes
