JUST IN: Bomet governor Hillary Barchok arrested for allegedly embezzling county funds 

  The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives have arrested Bomet governor Hillary Barchok for allegedly embezzling county funds. Governor Barchok  was arrested on Thursday February 6, 2025 in the morning, as the commission raided his residence. This was during an ongoing operation that is part of investigations into allegations of conflict of interest and theft
