Governor Natembeya Supports Education for Vulnerable Children at Hope’s House Kenya Children’s Home

   By Wasike Elvis This festive season, Transnzoia County Governor George Natembeya took a heartfelt step toward changing the lives of four deserving children at Hope’s House Kenya Children’s Home in Kitale. During his visit, the governor was moved by the resilience and dreams of the children, recognizing both their challenges and the boundless potential within them.Governor Natembeya shared his deep commitment to education as a transformative tool, stating, “Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances. This is why I am proud to announce that the George Natembeya Foundation will be fully covering the tuition fees for four remarkable students at Hope’s House.”Among the children, two boys will continue their education in a local day school, fully sponsored by the foundation until they complete their studies. Meanwhile, two girls will join St. Ann’s Secondary School, a reputable boarding institution, ensuring they have access to quality education and a safe environment for their academic and personal growth.Governor Natembeya further emphasized the importance of education as a catalyst for positive change in society. “As we celebrate the season of love and new beginnings, let us not forget the struggles faced by many young people. By investing in their education, we are investing in a better future for our county, and indeed, for our nation,” he said.The support for these four students highlights the governor’s ongoing efforts to make education accessible for all children in Transnzoia County, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds.
