Governor Bii’s New Year Message: A Call for Unity, Progress, and Prosperity in Uasin Gishu

In a heartfelt message to the people of Uasin Gishu County, Governor Jonathan Bii has called on residents to unite as one family and work together towards a future of peace, progress, and prosperity.
Speaking at the New Year’s Day celebrations in Eldoret, Governor Bii emphasized the importance of forgiveness, mutual respect, and the collective effort of all generations — from the youth to the elderly — in building a stronger community. He urged Uasin Gishu residents to set aside past differences and embrace unity in their shared vision for a brighter future.
“As we step into this new year, let us remember that we are all members of one family. It is through understanding and forgiveness that we can overcome the challenges that have stood in our way. The young and the old must come together, for each has a vital role to play in the progress of our county and nation,” Governor Bii remarked.
Governor Bii highlighted several key priorities for the year ahead, including promoting education, improving healthcare, and creating more job opportunities for the youth. He also reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing infrastructural development across the county, ensuring that all residents benefit from better roads, clean water, and reliable electricity.
“The future of Uasin Gishu lies in the hands of our youth, but it is the wisdom of our elders that will guide us. Our focus will remain on improving the well-being of every resident, fostering a climate of peace, and making Uasin Gishu a model county for others to emulate,” he added.
