Facebook To Add More Restrictions On What You Can Post

Facebook is on a mission to make sure the content posted on its platform adheres to Facebook standards on information sharing and privacy policy. The network which boasts of around 1.8 Billion active daily users is in the process of gaining more control f the platform by restricting what you can post.
In the latest update, Facebook has indicated that it is adding new policy to the already existing ones. The new policy that will take effect from 1st October will see Facebook users restricted on what they can post. Facebook has also notified its users that it will have the authority not only to restrict what they post, but also to remove any post should it violate the privacy policy of the giant social media network.
Effective October 1, 2020, section 3.2 of our Terms of Service will be updated to include: “We also can remove or restrict access to your content, services or information if we determine that doing so is reasonably necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory impacts to Facebook.”- Facebook wrote.
Facebook restricton Policy
Facebook and twitter have in the recent past been criticized over abusive usage of their platforms. They have severally been accused of failing to control spread of hates speech,violence, False information and dirty content on their platforms among others.
In recent days Twitter and Facebook have found themselves between a hard place and a rock, prompting them to distance themselves from US President Donald Trump messages on Covid-19.
