Eddie Butita Quits The Trend, Sends Emotional Farewell Message
Funny man Eddie Butita has decided to call it a day on the major role he has been playing on the popular NTV weekend show The Trend.
Butita who has graced the show for the last 5 years made the announcement yesterday revealing that he was appearing on the show for the last time.
“This is my last show on TTT. It was a nice time here. I will miss you Amina, Cindy and the entire panelist. It was a good ride. It has been five years and thank you for your support, God bless you,’ teary Butita said live on air.” He stated

Butita would then pour his tributes to Larry Madowo now a BBC News US Correspondent whom he praised for believing in him and giving him the first chance to be on the show.
“I would like to thank Amina and the panelist team for being more than colleagues, our time together was worth it. I learnt laughed and changed A lot that I was able to. It is time to give a chance to other talents to get an opportunity to grow and shine with greatness. Special thanks to NTV Kenya for the opportunity we are still together in this journey. Thank you Larry Madowo for believing in me and giving me the first chance to be on the show the rest was history. Big thanks to my fans, I have got more in store for you this is just the beginning of another Chapter in my Comedy Career. Adios el tendencia (Goodbye the trend).” He stated.
Butita’s next move is yet to be disclosed. For the past few weeks, Butita has been technically missing on the show and his appearance on the show was a big relief to his funs only to be shocked by his exiting announcement.
His funs wished him well through social media messages directed to him.
