Abstinence

Abstinence (noun) – the practice of refraining from indulging an appetite or desire, especially for alcohol or sexual activity.

Health and Wellness: Refraining from consuming alcohol, drugs, or certain foods for health benefits.
Religious or Moral Reasons: Choosing not to engage in certain activities due to personal or religious beliefs.

Sexual Abstinence: Refraining from sexual activity, often until marriage or a certain point in a relationship.
