Waiguru’s Home Raided By EACC Officers

Officials from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)  have on the morning of 20th August conducted a raid on Governor Anne Waiguru’s rural home at Kagio village, Kirinyaga County.
It has been reported that, vehicles belonging to EACC officials were pictured parked outside the home of Governor Anne Waiguru at Kagio village, Kirinyaga County on August 20, 2020.
The officers arrived at her rural home at 6 am and  ransacked her house for hours.
It was clear what they were looking for but the recent corruption allegation in Kirinyaga county linked to Waigurus office could be the possible reason for the raid.
