JUST IN: LPG Gas Dealers Face Setback in Effort to Block EPRA Directive
The High Court has dismissed a petition challenging a directive from the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) that mandates liquid petroleum gas (LPG) dealers to install closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at product filling zones. The dealers filed the petition in February following a gas explosion in Embakasi, which caused 10 fatalities and over 300 injuries.
