A senior official at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) faces charges for allegedly using a forged academic certificate to secure her position. Eric Ngumbi, the spokesperson for the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), confirmed the arrest of Caroline Sabiri Manyange, the Manager for Boundaries Delimitation, at her home in Nairobi West on Monday. EACC investigations revealed that Sabiri forged a Master of Arts degree in Population Studies, which she falsely claimed was issued by the University of Nairobi on May 9, 2004.
