JUST IN: Kenya Reports One Mpox Death as New Testing Kits Arrive
Kenya has received vital Mpox sample collection kits to boost its ability to conduct accurate and timely diagnostic testing. The shipment comprises 28 PCR diagnostic kits capable of testing 2,688 suspected Mpox samples, alongside 2,500 scalpel blades, viral transport media, and swabs for sample collection. These supplies, donated by USAID through the World Health Organization (WHO), will enable rapid detection and response to the ongoing Mpox outbreak.
