40 Sticks is about a group of prisoners trapped in a crashed prison bus strive to stay alive when they realize there is a mysterious killer lurking in the shadows.

2. Disconnect

Disconnect is a romantic comedy that brings out the intricacies and absurdities of the Nairobi dating scene.
The film was directed by Tosh Gitonga and the original story behind the film was written by Sabina Igbal. The film stars some of the top Kenyan actors such as Brenda Wairimu, Nick Mutuma Ctatherine kamau among others.

3. Lion King

He lures Simba and his friend Nala to go to a forbidden place and they are attacked by hyenas but they are rescued by Mufasa.

4. Sincerely Daisy

Sincerely daisy is about a happy high school graduate’s dreams, romance and confidence. All things break loose when family and relationship drama put her plans for the future in doubt.
What makes the film more interesting is how the use local Swahili language together with English brings out the theme.
Sincerely Daisy was directed by Nick Mutuma and stares Ellah Maina, sam Psanjen, Mbeki Mwalimu among others.

5. Poacher

Poacher is an award winning Kenyan film that is available on Netflix for streaming. The movie which addresses issues on illegal ivory trade is set to premiere on the global streaming service on September 30 2020.
The film was directed by Tom Whitworth and tells the story of a desperate farmer who runs into trouble after stealing a stash of blood ivory from a gang of international terrorists.
